A place to begin when
everything changes
The PANS Parent is a parent-led resource for families trying to understand sudden and often overwhelming cognitive or behavioral changes in their child.
When these changes appear quickly—sometimes almost overnight—many parents are left searching for answers without clear direction. PANS (Pediatric Acute-onset Neuropsychiatric Syndrome) is still not widely understood, and families often face delays in recognition, diagnosis, and care.
Parents are often the first to sense that something isn’t right, but struggle to find information that feels clear, grounded, and relatable. This site exists to make that early stage a little less confusing—and a little less isolating.
